Generally, China universities offer Before Entrance Scholarship ( BES ) and After Entrance Scholarship ( AES ) for foreign students for Bachelor, Master or Doctoral degree studies.
For before entrance scholarship ( BES ), scholarship candidate selection will be based on your senior high school mark result or above for your undergraduate studies, based on Bachelor degree mark result or above for your Postgraduate study, based on PG mark result or above for your Phd study.
For after entrance scholarship ( AES ), scholarship candidate selection will be Merit-based, which is based on the study result after every semester or academic year study at the University.
Scholarship can be divided into two types for overseas students: full scholarship and partial scholarship. Full scholarship means waiver of tuition fee or waiver of tuition fee and accommodation fee. Partial scholarship is waiver of part of tuition fee or waiver of accommodation fee.
Visa information for study in China
China Study Visa called X-visa is issued to the students who have been admitted by recognized Chinese universities, colleges or schools. Student Visa is subdivided into two types, X1 and X2. X1 Visa is issued for students who come to china to study for more than 6 months and X2 Visa is issued for students who come to China for studies like short courses which takes a period less than 6 months.
General required document to get Study Visa
1.Applicant must hold original passport valid at least six months and have at least two blank page
2. Passport size picture
3.Original approved student Visa Application Form JW201 or JW202
4.Original Admission Letter from Chinese university, school or college.
5.Original completed Medical Examination Form, this form must have a hospital stamped, and physician signature.

Normally student Visa takes 5 – 10 working days after submission off all required documents, but students must be aware of that Chinese Embassy working and off duty hours, especially festival schedule, during Chinese Festival and applicant’s country festival, Chinese Embassy will be closed for some days. X Visa fee depends on the country where a student is applying from, all information regarding visa fee could be obtained from Chinese embassy or consulate. Accommadation information for Study in China
Upon just arriving in China University, normally student can live in dormitory in the same day if the university is still open, but students have to live in hotel if it is so late to arrive in university, and next day morning student can come to university live in dormitory , then can go through make payment and registration
Some universities require students transfer fees in advance before student reach university, then can arrange dormitory to the students
For the persons who accompany students come to university, are not allowed live in dormitory with student, they shall arrange their living in Hotel
Normally the international dormitory is on campus, attached bath room, air-condition, bed with required amenities and furniture, internet access, public Kitchen and Laundry, there is single room and double room options.
